We invite you to stay in the atmospheric place “Biala Kalina Kaczawy”
Biala Kalina is a quaintly restored old house of Sudeten architecture from 1879, located in the South-West corenr of Poland, in the UNESCO Land of Extinct Volcanoes Geopark (Kaczawskie Mountains) on the outskirts of Dobkow village. We offer 4 comfortable rooms with own bathrooms for up to 14 people and a substantial space around the house for comfortable relaxation.
Dobków is a truly unusual village!
Here you will find a slow-food restaurant listed in the Gault&Millau yellow guide, you can visit the Sudeten Educational Farm – a little Copernicus 😉 dedicated to geology, volcanoes and earth science, there are ceramic galleries where you can participate in creative workshops and purchase beautiful artistic items, the Old Crafts Forge, where you will learn the secrets of baking gingerbread according to traditional recipes, and once a year there is a wreck rally, giving super emotions to car fans. All of this located in the beautiful scenery of the Kaczawskie Mountains surrounded by lots of greenery, silence and fresh air, and probably not accidentally the village belongs to the network of the Most Interesting Villages in Poland.
In the immediate vicinity there is the Ceramic Gallery offering ceramic workshops and pizza baking, as well as possibility of buying very interesting hand-made items.
But above all, you can get medals and passports of the Discoverer of the Land of Extinct Volcanoes programme!
Sounds enticing? You simply won’t get bored in Dobków!

Biala Kalina Kaczawy in Dobkow
For the love of Lower Silesia
For the love of Lower Silesia We could write here the often encountered text that we have long thought about changing our lives. Although actually that would also be true 😉
Lower Silesia enchanted us with its beauty, monuments and architectural diversity, which resulted in a longing to reevaluate our lives. The result of this is our house in Dobków bought a few years ago. We are now finishing its renovation and adaptation for tourist purposes. And we want to share its amazing values with everyone who decides to visit us.
We like the enthusiasm that usually radiates from our guests. We like to tell them about the attractions waiting for them during their stay in the Land of Extinct Volcanoes and to answer all their questions. When they leave, we like when they tell us that they would like to come back and that’s why they say
“See You!”
Let’s get to know each other
